Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Students will find and maintain a steady beat while listening to a song. 

Students will imitate teacher keeping a steady beat. 

Students will sing using their singing voices. 

Students will sing using solfege. 

Students will echo sing musical phrases. 

Students will draw and color their choice of a quarter note or and eighth note. 

Classroom Activities

Special area right now is for enrichment purposes only.
Work will be kept at a minimum in order to reduce the workload for our students working from home.

Any assignment given in special areas will due on April 30th and will be in bold and in all caps so it will be clear.

Assignments Due

ELEMENTARY MUSIC ASSIGNMENT DUE BY APRIL 30TH 2020 

Please watch the video below explaining the short assignment due April 30th for music. 

Students will choose to draw and color either a quarter note (TA) or an eighth note (TI TI). Once the picture is done, take a photo of the work (students can be in the photo too!) and email it to Miss Holvey. Drawings/pictures are due by April 30th. Once completed you are good to go! Please still check the music classroom connect for short and fun weekly enrichment activities.
