Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Students will discuss Black History Month and learn about African American Spirituals.
Students will sing multiple African American Spirituals that were important in history.
Students will continue their composer unit by learning about Beethoven and demonstrating their knowledge through assessments.
Students will perform various rhythms on percussion instruments.
Students will perform on recorders using proper playing technique.
