Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Students will have completed their research within their groups and they will now begin work on their mock/practice posters. Their practice poster will contain their facts that they’ve collected (organized into groups or categories of their choosing), their topic, and NO art. This will be an opportunity for students to gather their ideas before starting on their final posters.

Classroom Activities

Students will work within their groups to complete the above mentioned activities over the course of 2 classes. They will determine, together as a group, what facts to keep and what to get rid of. At the end of this activity, we will host a gallery walk for them to constructively critique each other’s work.
