Q4W1-3 Overfishing/Aquaculture (3/21 – 4/8)

03.02 – Identify animals important to agriculture.
06.02 – Evaluate proper health and nutrition for aquatic species.
08.01 – Define and identify renewable and nonrenewable natural resources.

Students will be able to:

*Understand what sustainable means and how it relates to agriculture.
*Understand the difference between “fresh catch” and “farm raised”
*Be able to identify problems and solutions for sustaining our quantity of freshly caught fish.

We will:

*Have classroom discussion about sustainability and whether fresh catch could have problems when it comes to sustainability.

*Work as a group to create a public service announcement poster about overfishing.
