Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Students will be given a president name and they will research and create a presentation in PowerPoint and will share the presentation in a small group.

Monday –

                Reading/Social Studies  – President PP Rubric 

  • President PowerPoint slides 4-5 (don’t forget to share your presentation with Mrs. Bartlett – djbartle@volusia.k12.fl.us)
  • Choose your time for presenting. Presentations will be done in groups of 4 on Teams https://www.signupgenius.com/go/409044EA4A722A13-president

Tuesday –

                Reading/Social Studies –

  • President PowerPoint slides 6-7. If you have not yet shared your PowerPoint with Mrs. Bartlett make sure you do that today! djbartle@volusia.k12.fl.us

Wednesday –

                Reading – 

  • Newsela – Divisions of power in federalism
  • ixl – W.3
  • If you have not yet finished your PowerPoint today is the last day to get it done.

Thursday –

                Reading/Social Studies –

  • Present President or Write a summary of someone else’s presentation. Your summary does not have to be on one of the people in your group that you present with. I will post all 44 presentations on Teams where everyone can see them all and you can choose the president you would like to write your summary about. You need to include the name of the president and why you chose to write about him as well as what you learned from the presentation.

Presentation are in the files in a folder called President Projects. You can write your summary wherever you are most comfortable writing it, word, class notebook, an email, paper and send me a picture. 

Friday –
