Monday: 45 minutes of I-Ready. Log on through v Portal. You should be able to complete 1 or 2 lessons and quizzes.
Tuesday: Ready Reading book Lesson 18 pgs. 320-329. You will follow along with me as I teach this lesson: Part 1 and Part 2. If you do not have your book you may print the pages off from the attached resources below. ( try these Part 1 and Part 2)
Wednesday: Work for 20 min on IXL skills K.1 and W.1 Your goal is 80% or better. Complete the assigned reading in Newsela (class code – KFSDGH), “Tallest Wooden Roller Coaster”. Complete the quiz and written response. If you cannot access Newsela please print off the attached copy below for a paper version.
Thursday: Start the informational writing prompt for “Water Changes Earth’s Surface” . Read through the passages and make a plan for your writing using the attached graphic organizer below or create one of your own. If you do not have the packet please print off from the resources below.
Friday: 1. Read pgs. 330-332 in your Ready Reading book or use the attachment below to view passages. Pages 333-335 questions will be taken for a grade.
2. Use your plan for your essay that you created yesterday to write your introduction paragraph in Office365 Word app. Use the checklist attached below to make sure you have all the required elements. Once you have typed your introduction please share with me like we did with the power points in social studies. Send to firstname.lastname@example.org. This way I can give feedback on your writing. We will continue this next week.

Thursday: Go to nearpod.com and use code QCDWY or follow this link to join Lesson 2. Complete all sections of the nearpod. You will need your Western Expansion Packet to complete this lesson. If you do not have your packet please print off from the attachment below.
Friday: Read the article attached below from Readworks.org or follow the link and directions below to access it online. Complete the quiz either online or with the pages you printed out. If you are completing the quiz on paper please scan/take a picture and email to email@example.com for me to grade or drop off at the school if you are unable to send to my email. THE QUIZ WILL BE TAKEN FOR A GRADE.
