Students will learn about, understand, and be able to recognize the types of heat injuries and how to treat or prevent them
Students will understand principles for proper hydration in hot weather
Students will read about and demonstrate warm up exercises, cool down stretches, and bodyweight exercises/movements
Students will read, practice, participate and demonstrate yoga poses in a safe manner
Students will develop a basic understanding and practice of topographical maps, protractors and compasses
Readings on heat, hydration, yoga, maps, bodyweight exercises
Group practice of reading maps, compasses and protractors
