Articulate & consistently apply principles of alignment to axial,
locomotor & non-locomotor movements. 8 basic locomotive
movements (walk, run, jump, hop, leap, chasse, gallop, skip) & basic
axial movements (pivot turn, pirouette, pencil turn, & spiral)
• Demonstrates an understanding of personal space vs. general space
and how to stand in staggered lines while center

Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

This quarter we will begin our technique training in Ballet and Jazz.
We will also begin learning our competition/performance choreography.

Mondays: Ballet Technique Class
Tuesdays/Fridays: Competition/Performance Choreography and Rehearsal
Wednesdays: Conditioning and Rehearsal
Thursdays: Jazz Technique Class

Assignments Due

We will have Vocabulary Tests on: 9/8 and 9/29
