Tuesday 11/30: What do you like to do for fun and why?
Wednesday 12/1: Where would you like to go to high school and what would you like to do in high school (this can be an area of study or an extra curricular activity). I know you have time to think about it, but it’s never too early to plan! 🙂
Friday 12/3: What do you see yourself doing after high school? College? Trade school? A job? Be specific, remember, you should be writing in complete sentences.
Assignment: (Tuesday & Friday)
This week is your opportunity to gaze into the future (pretend you have a magic 8 ball) and you can be anything you want to be. What is your dream job? Tell me about it!
1. Explain what you want to do
2. How you plan to achieve your dreams
3. Where you will live in order to do this dream job
4. What you’ll do once you have your job.
5. Bonus points if you explain if your job DOES tie into agriculture and you explain how.
You can write your assignment, type it, put it in a PowerPoint (PPT), draw a poster with explanations written on it (writing is a must), OR if you have an idea of how you would like to complete this assignment, run it by me (you must have my approval) and once you have my approval, run with it. Written or typed assignments should be no less than 3 paragraphs – this includes posters. Remember, a paragraph needs to contain at least 5 sentences. PPT assignments should be NO LESS than 8 slides. Any less than these standards and points will be deducted. Spelling and grammar count as well as legibility; make sure if you are handwriting that you are writing neatly. Get creative and dream about your future. Your assignment is due by Friday, December 3rd at the end of class.
