Assignments Due

Tuesday: PowerPoint (rabbit breeds and care) and work assigned. This week you will be working in groups of 3 or 4 to develop a poster or PowerPoint on a breed that we discuss. Either way, you must touch on all of the topics in the breed brainstorm flyer. If you do a PowerPoint, it must consist of at least 8 slides and you should have a slide for your websites used. You will begin working today.

Wednesday: Group work time

Friday: Group work time and finish project

This week we will be focusing on rabbit showmanship, posing rabbits, rabbit care, and a disease that is fatal to rabbits. There is so much to consider when getting involved in raising and showing small animals and this weeks we will focus on more than just the cute, cuddly rabbit; we will focus on the care of the animal.

Tuesday: Rabbit posing (how do breeds differ) and rabbit showmanship. Once we watch the videos, please choose a type of rabbit that is of most interest to you and write a paragraph (at least 5 sentences) about why you found that breed most interesting.

Wednesday: We will be watching a video about RHDV.

Friday: Today we will be working on an article about RHDV. Once complete, you will be responsible for writing a paragraph about what you learned about this rabbit related disease. Remember a paragraph is at lease 5 sentences. Please use the remainder of the class time to complete work from Tuesday.

Tuesday: Review material for lab on Friday – we will review our PowerPoint on breeds, do a Kahoot, and you will have a review sheet to complete (your review sheet will be turned in with your lab and will count as 10 pts of your lab, please make sure you complete this work!).

Wednesday: This will be your opportunity to work on missing assignments before the end of the 9 weeks, please get your work done and turned in.

Friday: Rabbit lab! This is a summative grade. When you’re done you can work on any missing assignments.
