This week we are continuing our Journey 2050 study and will be studying water and water conservation. Bell Ringers: Tuesday: How do you handle stress? Assignments: Tuesday: PowerPoint – review and discuss together/remember you can be playing along with the game Wednesday: Complete one of the following assignments and turn in by the beginning of class on 10/30: Choice 1: 3 paragraph persuasive essay detailing how you are going to convince people to conserve water. Your essay should detail water conservation efforts at home and in the community (school, work, etc…). What would this mean for people, their community, their world, their future. Legibility and spelling count. Choice 2: Poster – create a poster that supports water conservation. This should be a standard size poster that is COLORFUL. You do not have to present your poster, however, if you are an innovative student, a clear photo must be sent to me via Remind or email. Choice 3: A presentation – this can be a PowerPoint OR an oral presentation but must be at least 2 minutes long. It must detail ways that you think we can conserve water in order to provide us with better agricultural sustainability. All of these are due by Friday, October 30th at the beginning of class. Friday: Presentations will be done, work turned in and F2F students will go to the garden. REMINDER: ALL STUDENTS HAVE ACCESS TO CANVAS AS AN AID IN THEIR LEARNING, please feel free to use this tool however you deem necessary. |
