Classroom Activities

This week we will take a look back at the 93rd FFA National Convention. We’ll drop in on some of the sessions, view the most exciting parts (or at least what I think they are), and see who our newest National Officer Team is. We will pick up again with our bell ringers and start this new nine weeks off in true Ivy Hawn fashion…the right way! 🙂

Bell Ringers: (Use complete sentences when working on your bell ringers)

Wednesday (11/4): If you were asked to write a retiring address, what would your topic be?

Friday (11/6): “If you do what you have always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten.” – Tony Robbins What do you think this quote means?

Assignment:

Watch the following sessions of the 93rd National FFA Convention and identify two moments that were really important to you. Write one paragraph about each of them (5 sentences each). Tell me why you found those moments important, compelling, funny, etc. This assignment will be turned in by Tuesday, November 10th.

We are watching the following sessions and times, to find them, click on the FFA screen, hit the home tab and look for the following:
