Assignments Due

Assignment:

On April 22nd we celebrate Earth Day. People around the globe recognize this day as a reason to stop and plant a tree, pick up trash, recognize conservation efforts, or other such efforts. I would argue that Earth Day isn’t one day, it must be EVERY DAY! With our Journey 2050 study, we recognize that we don’t just need further resources for the future, we need to maintain and conserve the resources we have. This week your assignment will be to construct a poster that highlights ways that we can be responsible residents. All 6th and 7th grade posters will be included in a poster contest (including our innovative students, please send a clear picture of your poster) and an award will be given.

Your points will break down in the following way:

Creativity including a catchy title/heading: 40 pts

Showcases the topic: 20 pts

Colorful: 20 pts

Spelling/Grammar: 20 pts
