Week 1: Online Learning Regular and Advance 7th Grade Math

Hello Parents and Students,

I hope you enjoyed your Spring Break during these difficult times.  We will begin online learning on Monday, March 30th.  Please come to school to pick up a student packet for note-taking and lesson practice this Thursday, March 26th or Friday, March 27th between 8am and 12pm.  These papers can also be printed at home from an online link in the lessons.

If you haven’t already, please join my Remind group, since this will be the best way to contact me:  @ih7mathreg (regular)  or @ih7mathadv (advanced) (text to 81010).  I can also be reached through my Ivy Hawn email at brackinc@ivyhawnschool.org.

We will be using the following resources/platforms in online lessons:  IXL, MathSpace, Google Classroom (regular math: vi5nfdt;  advanced math: wyny6jd),  I-Ready, and Khan Academy.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Mrs. C. Barnes (Brackin)

Hello Parents and Students! I want to provide a link for Google Classroom for you to use. This is where I’m posting my lesson plans along with links to video lessons and assignments. Please go to: https://classroom.google.com
For Regular Math, your join code is: vi5nfdt
For Advanced Math, your join code is: wyny6jd
Please know that I listed my lessons under “stream” instead of “assignments.” You need to click on “stream” and scroll down until you find the date for the lesson you need. For example, scroll nearly to the end of the cue to find “For Monday, March 30.” “For Tuesday, March 31” appears below Monday. For the links to Monday, they appear just above the “For Monday, March 30” lesson plan. Next week, I will have all lessons posted under “assignments” and it should be easier to follow.
