Learning Targets and Learning Criteria |
My students will read a nonfiction account of Black Women in Aviation and watch two corresponding videos. They will compare the information they learned in each. My students will learn 10 vocabulary words and be tested on them on Friday. My students will work on Edgenuity Reading competing in a contest for Friday. My students will work in their Florida Ready workbooks and read a charge to students by President Barack Obama. They will answer the questions that follow the text. They will also watch a video featuring Obama speaking to all students. My students will play Kahoot with questions based on new information they have read this week. |

Monday – Edgenuity Tuesday – Teacher Work Day Wednesday – Read “Women in Aviation” p. 45 in our Collections book as a class. Pay attention to details! Learn vocabulary words. There will be a vocabulary TEST (summative) on Friday. Work on Edgenuity Reading for contest. Thursday – Finish reading “Women in Aviation.” Review vocabulary words, Read and answer the questions for pp. 24-26 in Ready Florida book. Watch the Barack Obama video. Work on Edgenuity Reading for contest. Friday – Vocabulary test, Kahoot, reminder that oral book report is due Monday, November 9. Work on Edgenuity Reading for contest. |
