Learning Targets and Learning Criteria |
Students will learn to determine a theme in literature. Students will learn to discuss character and how a character is impacted by setting & time frame. Students will complete 5 lessons in Think Cerca and I will record their two highest grades. Students will discuss the literature pieces they are reading. I will record two formative grades from the 5 Think Cerca lessons they read. We will watch a video on Malala Yousafzai and discuss Citizens of the World. Students will read their chapter books for their book reports that are due on September 28. |

We will watch a video on Malala Yousafzai, discuss, have silent reading, work on Think Cerca, write a paragraph, and if time allows, play Kahoot. |

Think Cerca – Complete these assignments in order. Do your best. I will not reset any of these lessons, so take your time, find the correct answer in the literature before you record your answer. Prove your answers! Go to Think Cerca and log in.

On Friday, you will need a needle, thread, scissors, a 4-hole button, and a small piece of cloth. We are going to learn how to sew on a button. This relates to our reading page on buttons. |
