Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Learning Targets:
– Students will provide an analysis of the interactions between individuals, events, and/or ideas  in a text. (The Outsiders 4th Quarter Novel Study.)
 – Students will learn what a plot is and the different stages of a narrative arc. They will learn how to understand and analyze the choices authors make in creating a story’s plot.

Monday, April 13th – This week you will read Chapters 5 & 6 in The Outsiders novel.
Zoom Meeting: For security reasons, live lessons in large groups are discontinued.  Zoom is available for one-on-one and in a small group setting.

Tuesday, April 14th – ThinkCERCA –  Plot (Disregard Due Date) Finish the entire lesson.
Wednesday, April 15th – Read The Outsiders or listen to Audible
Thursday, April 16th –  45 Minutes on iReady
Friday, April 17th –  Read The Outsiders or listen to Audible
By Friday you should have completed Chapters 5 & 6 of The Outsiders.  The work to complete is listed below. 
All work should be typed and sent via V-Portal using Word to:  HLBaker@volusia.k12.fl.us
You may pick up paper packets at Ivy Hawn – Yellow. (Follow Connect Ed instructions.)
If you prefer to handwrite the material, you may take a photo of your work and send via Remind.
