MAFS.6.NS.2.4:

Find the greatest common factor of two whole numbers less than or equal to 100 and the least common multiple of two whole numbers less than or equal to 12. Use the distributive property to express a sum of two whole numbers 1-100 with a common factor as a multiple of a sum of two whole numbers with no common factor. For example, express 36 + 8 as 4(9 + 2).

understand that a multiple is a whole number that is a product of a whole number and any other factor.
calculate GCF and LCM for given sets of numbers.

Monday- 1st – 4th
Virtual Students-
Zoom Meeting- 8am
Bell work for Monday Complete all problems on separate sheet of paper.
Notebook: We will complete two practice problems with finding the GCF of a set of numbers using method 2 (venn diagram method)
Students will then go to classroom connect and open the document for GCF Practice and complete the 14 problems on a separate sheet of paper and email me a copy of the work for a formative grade. (ONLY COMPLETE PAGE ONE)
IXL work will also be done this week (see document at top of page for particular lessons).

Face to Face Students-
Bell work as enter room
Notebook: We will complete two practice problems with finding the GCF of a set of numbers using method 2 (venn diagram method)
Students will then complete GCF Practice and complete the 14 problems for a formative grade. Students will use the Venn Diagram (method 2) way to complete the problems.
Early Finishers will work on IXL assignments (see doc at top of page)

Tuesday-
