MAFS.6.NS.2.4:

Find the greatest common factor of two whole numbers less than or equal to 100 and the least common multiple of two whole numbers less than or equal to 12. Use the distributive property to express a sum of two whole numbers 1-100 with a common factor as a multiple of a sum of two whole numbers with no common factor. For example, express 36 + 8 as 4(9 + 2).

understand that a factor is a whole number that divides without a remainder into another number.
understand that a multiple is a whole number that is a product of a whole number and any other factor.
calculate GCF and LCM for given sets of numbers.
apply knowledge of factors and multiples to problem solving.
communicate, using precise mathematical language, how the distributive property makes use of factors and multiples.

Monday- Student Holiday

Tuesday:
Bell Ringer- multi-step multiplication
Virtual Students- Zoom 8am
Students will log into the zoom session and will complete bell work for Tuesday. As a whole group we will discuss how to solve the problems.
Students will log in to Edgenuity. Students will need to print or write out the lesson outline. Using the lesson outline students will complete the lesson warmup, lesson, and activity. Students will complete the lesson outline and place all pages into their notebook on page 3. (may take two days to finish)
Face to Face Students-
Students will log into IXL and complete the diagnostic. Students that complete the diagnostic will be asked to go to the Learn Page and click on 6th grade and complete section C-1 on Rules of Divisibility. Additional practice will include Number Theroy Lesson E-3 through E-12.

Wednesday- All Periods
Virtual Students:
Zoom Math Advanced 8am
Zoom Math Regular 11:40am
Student will begin with the bell work for Wednesday using skills for multiplication and factoring.
Students will then take notes on factoring and GCF.
Student will then log out and continue work on Edgenuity for Prime Factorization.
Face to Face:
Begin with Bell work
Students will take notes on factoring and GCF.
Students will place doodle notes into their notebooks p 2.

Thursday: Zoom 8am
Bell Ringer-
Virtual Students prime factoriztion-

Students will log into the zoom session and will complete bell work for Tuesday. As a whole group we will discuss how to solve the problems.

Students will then work on notes for GCF by using method 1 and method 2. Students will complete problems for factoring. Print from top of page. Email to teacher for grade.
Face to Face:
Bell work
Students will then work on notes for GCF by using method 1 and method 2. Students will complete problems for factoring.
