Week 8 Decimals and DIAs Oct. 19-25
Monday:
Virtual Students – zoom 8:00am
Students will enter session and begin bell work for week 8. Students will be practicing skills for dividing fractions and long division.
Students will be using their interactive notebooks and take notes on Multiply/Divide Decimals. Students will need to print the guided notes from Classroom connect to use in the lesson. After notes students will complete the Nerdy Multiply decimal problems (print from classroom connect).
Face to Face:
1st & 2nd
Students will enter room and begin bell work for the day. Students will be practicing skills for dividing fractions and long division.
Students will be using their interactive notebooks and taking guided notes on multiplying decimals. Students will glue doodle notes for multiply/divide with decimals into interactive notebook.
4th Honors
Students will enter room and begin bell work for the day. Students will be practicing skills for dividing fractions and long division.
Notes will be taken in the interactive notebook for Ratio tables. Students will work on guided notes for equivalent ratios in ratio tables and conversions using ratios. After notes are done students will work to complete “What is a Ratio?” and multiply decimals paper.
Tuesday:

Virtual Students – zoom 8:00am
Students will enter session and begin bell work for week 8. Students will be practicing skills for dividing fractions and long division.
Students will be using their interactive notebooks and take notes on Multiply/Divide Decimals. Students will need to print the guided notes from Classroom connect to use in the lesson. After notes students will complete the Nerdy Multiply decimal problems (print from classroom connect).

5th, 7th, & 8th
Students will enter room and begin bell work for the day. Students will be practicing skills for dividing fractions and long division.
Students will be using their interactive notebooks and taking guided notes on multiplying decimals. Students will glue doodle notes for multiply with decimals into interactive notebook.
Wednesday: All Classes
Virtual: Adv. zoom 8:00 Reg. zoom 11:40
Students will log in and begin bell work on multiply/divide with decimals practice problems.
Students will complete “Nerdy” dividing decimals practice pages (print from Classroom Connect).
Face to Face:
Students will begin bell work on multiply/divide with decimals practice problems.
Students will complete “Nerdy” dividing decimals practice pages.
4th Honors
Students will take notes in interactive notebook about unit rate. Directly following notes, the “Unit Rate Project” will be introduced to students with expectations. Students will then work to complete the “Nerdy” decimals paper.

Thursday
Virtual Students: zoom 8:00
Students will enter the session and begin bell work for dividing decimals practice.
Students will log into school city in their VPortal and take DIA 1 on School City. Students will take the test while on the zoom session with their camera open for monitoring of testing environment.

Face to Face:
Students will begin bell work for dividing decimals practice.
Advance/ Honor Students will log into Vportal and begin taking DIA 1 on School City. Early finishers will work on any missing work or notes in notebook to prepare for upcoming grading.
2nd Period: Students will work on Decimal Skills practice pages
4th period students after DIA 1 will be able to work on Unit Rate Activity or Decimal work (to be decided).
Friday-
Virtual Students: zoom 8:00
Students will enter the session and begin bell work for dividing decimals practice.
Students will work on Decimal Skills practice pages***.

Face to Face:
Students will begin bell work for dividing decimals practice.
8th Advance Students will log into Vportal and begin taking DIA 1 on School City. Early finishers will work on any missing work or notes in notebook to prepare for upcoming grading.
5th, 7th Period: Students will work on Decimal Skills practice pages
