|Week #||Q3W02: Feb 1 - Feb 5|
|Unit of Instruction||Focus 4: Expressions, Equations and Inequalities|
Expressions, Equations, and Inequalities Entire Unit) Focus this week is on standards with asterisk
|Learning Targets and Learning Criteria|
MAFS.7.EE.1.1: Apply properties of operations as strategies to add, subtract, factor, and expand linear expressions with rational coefficients.
MAFS.7.EE.1.2: Understand that rewriting an expression in different forms in a problem context can shed light on the problem and how the quantities in it are related.
MAFS.7.EE.2.3: (Links to an external site.) Solve multi-step real-life and mathematical problems posed with positive and negative rational numbers in any form (whole numbers, fractions, and decimals), using tools strategically.
MAFS.7.EE.2.4: (Links to an external site.) Use variables to represent quantities in a real-world or mathematical problem, and construct simple equations and inequalities to solve problems by reasoning about the quantities.
MAFS.8.EE.3.7a, b (Links to an external site.): Solve linear equations in one variable.
DIA 3 for Honors classes will be administered Thursday, 2/4.
Monday: Students who have not completed iReady will finalize test.
