Innovation Students:

SS.6.G.2.1- Explain how major physical characteristics, natural resources, climate, and absolute and relative locations have influenced settlement, interactions, and the economies of ancient civilizations of the world.

SS.6.G.3.1- Explain how the physical landscape has affected the development of agriculture and industry in the ancient world.

SS.6.W.2.2- Describe how the developments of agriculture and metallurgy related to settlement, population growth, and the emergence of civilization.

Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Student Goals: 

Discuss- Influential Jewish leaders: Abraham, Moses, monotheism, law, emphasis on individual worth and responsibility.

I will also not be available to message you once class has begun. If you need the code, it is imperative that you message me at least 20 minutes prior. If a zoom class is missed you will be marked absent and you will need to see our 6th grade checklist for the day’s assignments.

Assignments Due

Face to Face: 

  • Egypt Projects/ rubrics have been handed out. They are due Nov 30th for periods 1,2,&4 and December 1st for periods 5,7, & 8. Above you will find the rubrics and handout that was given to all my face to face students only.  
  • Students will work on Judaism Vocabulary words and those will be pasted into their spiral notebooks. 
  • Students will also create a foldable on 4 key figures within the religion of Judaism. Abraham, Moses, David and Solomon

Innovation Students

Lesson 2- “Life in Ancient Egypt” will be due Sunday 11/ 15/20

ALL IEP and ESOL accommodations will be provided daily.

When a student is absent, it is their responsibility to check in with me and get any notes or materials they may have missed. Students will have the number of days absent to complete missing work.
