Students will be analyzing time lines.

Placing dates in chronological order.

Going over the vocab terms: B.C./B.C.E & A.D./ C.E.- Decade, Century, and Millennium.

I will also not be available to message you once class has begun. If you need the code, it is imperative that you message me at least 20 minutes prior. If a zoom class is missed you will be marked absent and you will need to see our 6th grade checklist for the day’s assignments.

Assignments Due

Innovation Students: please see Mrs. Robertson’s Assignment checklist in her classroom connect, under WEEK 3. All your core class teachers have added the assignments there. We are currently working on Lesson 3 “Analyzing Time Lines” Lessons one and two should already be completed.

Face to Face: Students will be working on time lines this week. Timelines About Me projects will be due 9/21 for periods 1,2,4 and 9/22 for periods 5,7,8. I have sent out an example via remind with the requirements. Doodle Notes on Primary and Secondary Sources will be completed in class and placed into their spiral notebooks.

ALL IEP and ESOL accommodations will be provided daily.

When a student is absent, it is their responsibility to check in with me and get any notes or materials they may have missed.  Students will have the number of days absent to complete missing work.  If you need any assignments emailed or have any questions or concerns, please contact me via remind or email me directly at smithk@ivyhawnschool.org.
