Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Student Goals: 

  • Explain how the geographical location of ancient civilizations contributed to the culture and politics of those societies.
  • Students will recognize borders between countries and understand that countries control these borders
  • Students will understand that societies adapt to their physical environment in order to be successful
Classroom Activities

Face to Face Students: will create posters on China’s Geography and early settlement. Students will collaborate and create a relief map/ use data to analyze the settlement of the Early Chinese. 

Innovation Students:  Students will complete their Edgenuity Lesson  “The Geography of East Asia”
