Student Goals: 

Discuss Hammurabi’s Code

Discuss achievements of Ancient Sumer/ Mesopotamia: cuneiform writing, epic literature such as Gilgamesh, art and architecture, technology such as the wheel, sail, and plow.

I will also not be available to message you once class has begun. If you need the code, it is imperative that you message me at least 20 minutes prior. If a zoom class is missed you will be marked absent and you will need to see our 6th grade checklist for the day’s assignments.

Innovation Students will complete Unit 2 Lesson #3- “Sumerian City-States” they will also begin Lesson #4 “The First Empires” Warm up and Instruction.

Face to Face Students:

Discuss Hammurabi’s Code- Work on an in class research project

ALL IEP and ESOL accommodations will be provided daily.
