Monday, 8/31: Introduce myself and model procedures/rules
Students complete self-introduction on index card
Tuesday, 9/1: Review and model procedures/rules
Introduce, model, and begin the Dreams Project
Wednesday, 9/2: Review and have students model procedures/rules
Review boxes on the Dreams Project; complete boxes and attached essay using boxes. Second half of the day DEAR Time (Drop Everything and Read!) once the student completes the Dreams Project.
Thursday, 9/3: Introduce and model a plot diagram, complete “Cloud Paper” of the Dreams Project.
Friday, 9/4: Practice plot diagrams and make tabs to complete personal ELA binder
