 Date:  April 4th -8th          Periods 1,5,7 Monday/Tuesday –  Triangles and Trapezoid Activity and Notes Video Link to Go Along with Notes https://www.maneuveringthemiddle.com/ewd_video_resource/6th-grade-area-of-triangles-and-trapezoids-2/?link_code=f30fA4PTsZw9 Students will use the Area Model A=1/2bh to find the area of a triangle and trapezoid.  Teacher will go over notes with students.  Once notes are over students will have the rest of the class period to work on the activity with a partner or individually. Wednesday  –  Continue working on Triangles Worksheet #1 Thursday/Friday –  Review Triangles and Trapezoids Trapezoid Review for Quiz next week. Fill in the missing numbers into the equations for triangles and trapezoids.  See Mrs. Zeak for Activities in class or email for document.

Wednesday – Adding and Subtracting One Step Equation Quiz  Students will identify the opposite operation when trying to solve a one step equations.  Students will solve addition and subtraction one step equations.   Once the students finish they will begin Center Rotations for the week.
