Dean of Students

    • Specific Responsibilities:
      • Ensure a safe, predictable, and welcoming environment for all students 
      • Contributing positively to the school and staff culture
      • Assist the Assistant Principals in the resolution of discipline problems and maintain records of any action taken to ensure that the discipline policy is administered in a fair and just manner and that an optimum learning environment is maintained
      • Collaborate with the faculty in enforcing and implementing the rules and other regulations of the student code of conduct to effect positive student behavior in the school
      • Oversee all matters of student attendance, and make recommendations to the principal for resolution of chronic attendance problems. Help supervise and coordinate with truancy officials, and provide necessary testimony in relevant judicial proceedings.
      • Help to supervise the arrival and departure of students in order to ensure student safety.
      • Middle School morning/lunch/afternoon supervision
      • Assist, oversee, organize and coordinate Substitutes
      • Attend district-scheduled Code of Conduct updates, review workshops, and any additional workshops scheduled to inform schools of instructional/behavioral management procedures.
      • Provide professional development opportunities for all faculty and staff members, as needed
    • Education and Experience:
        • Valid Florida Teaching certificate 
        • Successful experience in teaching in the classroom setting 
        • Administration/Principal certificate preferred
    • Required Skills
        • Desire to create a positive environment where students know, understand, and follow school expectations
        • Strong interpersonal skills evidenced by the ability to work cooperatively and maintain effective working relationships with families, colleagues, faculty, staff, and students

Elementary Teacher (4th Grade)

      • Specific Responsibilities:
        • Ensure a safe, welcoming, and rigorous classroom for all students 
        • Fulfill all aspects of instruction from planning, grading, data analysis, connecting with families, and completing state and building-level assessments and reports
        • Contributing positively to the school and staff culture
        • Love of the arts preferred
      • Education and Experience:
        • Teaching certificate required
        • Experience in teaching elementary grade levels preferred
      • Required Skills
        • Strong interpersonal skills evidenced by the ability to work cooperatively and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, faculty, staff, and students.

Middle School Math teacher 

      • Specific Responsibilities:
        • Ensure a safe, welcoming, and rigorous classroom for all students 
        • Fulfill all aspects of instruction from planning, grading, data analysis, connecting with families, and completing state and building-level assessments and reports
        • Contributing positively to the school and staff culture
        • Love of the arts preferred
      • Education and Experience:
        • Teaching certificate required
        • Experience in teaching secondary grade levels preferred
      • Required Skills
        • Strong interpersonal skills evidenced by the ability to work cooperatively and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, faculty, staff, and students.

ESE Teacher

    • Specific Responsibilities:
      • Ensure a safe, welcoming, and rigorous classroom for all students 
      • Fulfill all aspects of instruction from planning, grading, data analysis, connecting with families, and completing state and building-level assessments and reports
      • Contributing positively to the school and staff culture
      • Love of the arts preferred
    • Education and Experience:
      • ESE Teaching certificate required
      • Experience in teaching an ESE setting
    • Required Skills
